Town of Templeton, MA

Des Lauriers was contracted by the Town of Templeton to convert the town’s fifty-seven tax maps from analog to digital GIS format. After providing the high quality parcel base, Des Lauriers has continued to incorporate several years of sub-division and Approval Not Required (ANR) changes to the tax maps. Using plans supplied by the town, coordinate geometry techniques are employed to provide the highest level of map accuracy possible. Parcels without geographic control are adjusted to parcels mapped by coordinate geometry in order to improve overall accuracy.

Des Lauriers provided the town with reports and maps for use in resolving Assessor record and map discrepancies. Des Lauriers worked closely with the town staff, to resolve the discrepancies.
